Sports Relief Day at William Bellamy
During Sports Relief the pupils at William Bellamy Primary walked, ran or jogged a circuit to try and walk over 1000 miles in total. The pupils made an amazing effort and completed more miles than we expected. The weather was great which added to our amazing day. The Nursery and KS2 children completed this on our school field while the KS1 children completed their half miles over in Central Park. The staff also joined in with many of them running and jogging too.
Sports Relief at William Bellamy
The William Bellamy Hockey Team enjoyed a fun afternoon at the borough's Hockey Competition. They started with an hours training from the Romford Hockey Club's coaches, the children learned the names of the stances and skills to develop their play. We had an exciting opportunity to meet a bronze GB medalist and have our photo taken.
After all of this excitement we began the tournament and the children were able to apply their skills to a game situation.
What a fantastic day!!
