Thank you for considering William Bellamy Primary School as an option for your child’s primary education. You are very welcome to make a visit to the school to have a look at our wonderful school for yourself.
Our school is a 4/5 form entry primary school with a Nursery. Our intake for each year group is therefore 150 with a 156 place Nursery.
Reception 120 pupils (30 in each class)
Year 1 120 pupils (30 in each class)
Year 2 120 pupils (30 in each class)
Year 3 150 pupils (30 in each class)
Year 4 120 pupils (30 in each class)
Year 5 150 pupils (30 in each class)
Year 6 150 pupils (30 in each class)
Nursery - 78 places in the morning session (8:30am - 11:30am)
Nursery - 78 places in the afternoon session (12.30pm - 3.30pm)
We have a limited number of full time Nursery places. Please contact the school office for further information.
Visits to the school can be arranged by contacting the school’s main office. One of our fantastic Admin Team will usually lead a tour of the school and a member of the Senior Leadership Team will also be pleased to meet you.
If your child has additional or special educational needs, Mrs Cracknell, AHT (Inclusion) would also be happy to meet with you to discuss provision for your child.

An Offer of a Place
Please note that the offer of a school place is conditional until proof of address has been confirmed by the school. Original copies of the following will be required:
- Child benefit documentation, or if you’re no longer eligible to receive child benefit you’ll need a letter from the HMRC confirming you were previously in receipt of child benefit
- Council Tax bill
- One other proof of address (TV licence, bank statement, credit/store card statement)
