William Bellamy Pupils Reach for the Stars!!!
It's Aspiration Week again at William Bellamy! We have been thinking all week about our future, our hopes and our dreams... and we know that the key to success is:
1) Aim high
2) Strive to be the best we possibly can n all we do
3) Believe in ourselves!
So far we have had the opportunity to meet some of our local police officers and hear about careers in the police force; we have learned all about the St John's Ambulance and thought about careers in medicine and health; we have met our Community Champion and Deputy Store Manager from our local Asda and heard about a career in retail and we have met one of our local Councillors who has inspired us with music and dance...
Watch this space to hear more about the exciting events in school this week - and remember - believe in yourself and you're half way there!
Pupils at William Bellamy Primary School thought all about their hopes and dreams for the future during Aspiration Week in July 2013!
The pupils had the opportunity to meet a number of visitors in school including; an Engineer from the Ministry of Defence, Canoeists from Canoe England, a Vice President of a Canary Wharf bank, a Royal Marine, a professional footballer and an ex-William Bellamy pupil and athlete, who went on to train for team GB in the 2012 Olympics.
Events concluded on the Friday afternoon when pupils and parents had the opportunity to race against Shaun Stewart, ex-pupil and athlete, during Sports Day!
