Learning Guitar?

Here's a few tips to help you on your way..

When learning guitar, it's always good to start off really basic. Here are a few basic chords to get your hands used to the shapes. Once you have gained something called 'Muscle Memory' you'll be able to pick up some of the harder chords.
Muscle memory is very important, It enable your mind to work separately with your brain so that you can concentrate on strumming and making a chord shape at the same time.
This is your 'A Chord'
This is your 'C Chord'
This is your 'F Chord'
This is your 'G Chord'
What is a Plectrum?
This is a plectrum, Also known as a pick. This enhances the volume of your strings. You can play a guitar without a plectrum, this is know as 'Finger picking' and is very popular on Acoustic guitars. Finger picking gives a much quitter and gentle tone to your guitar and can be used in many different techniques.
