At William Bellamy Primary School every child is valued.  We aim to create a happy healthy, safe and secure learning and aspirational environment.  We encourage all children to become independent lifelong learners who achieve their full potential.  We positively promote caring attitudes, respect and responsibility towards each other, the environment and the wider community.

Special educational needs is defined by the code of practice 2014 “Those pupils who have significantly greater difficulty in learning than the majority of others of the same age.  Those pupils who have a disability which prevents or hinders him or her from making use of facilities of a kind generally provided for others of the same age in mainstream schools”.
